Ways you can contribute
Share resources
Fertile Ground's mission has always included sharing resources that enhance life. We are invested in the "Fair Share" principle of permaculture, which recognizes our economy is more than just cash. We have abundance to share but we also have needs that you can help us meet by simply sharing your surplus. Whether you have equipment, bulk materials, farm supplies, seeds or plants to share, our farm is always looking for in-kind contributions. See below our wish list for the farm and our new project: building a community hearth.
Donate money
While equipment and materials go a long way to supporting our mission, we always need cash to cover hard costs outside services we cannot source from our community in kind. We accept donations through our Paypal portal (See button below), and accept donations at all events workshops. Occasionally we run fundraisers and accept donations in exchange for surplus plants. We are currently raising money for our new community hearth outdoor kitchen, to augment any grants or other income for the project in the coming year.
Volunteer
We are seeking volunteers to help grow community resilience and ecological stewardship in the Cascadia bioregion. Whether you’re lending a hand at a work party, helping host permaculture workshops, or supporting seasonal gatherings, you’ll be part of a vibrant network dedicated to sustainability, biodiversity, and connection. Join us in cultivating a thriving future—learn, share, and make a difference alongside others who care deeply for the land and each other.
