community center : calendar : events : pizza

Each summer we host Pizza Parties from our wood-fired cob oven all summer. This summer something is different: Saturday night not Friday night. We primarily made the switch because we hope to create more opportunities for connecting with a wider section of our community.

If you have a group with an interest in fund raising, consider using our facilities to make it fun. Each Saturday evening from May 17 - September 27 we'll be firing up the oven and serving up great pizza. We provide a clean and decorated space with seating for 30 and playing room for 100. With our assistance, groups raised between $200 - $600 in one night. The rental cost of our space is $80 for organizations (half of it can be paid through volunteer hours in advance of the event). We'll be glad to show you the space in advance and talk over the options for making your event successful in every way. The Olympia Food Co-op is donating both tomato sauce and mozzarella cheese for every event. Thanks Co-op!

If you are interested in having us host your pizza party, first download this agreement, read through it with your group. We're open to yard/seating re-arrangements to meet the special needs for musicians or people with disabilities. If you have any questions you call Gail or Michael at Fertile Ground 360-352-2428 or send email to curator@fertileground.org
