Sunday, July 31st, 3 - 7pm - Fund Raising Pizza Party for the Village Building Convergence
Help support the VBC by making the scene at their pizza party. Music provided by Oly Good Wood and food from local farms. Just two weeks until the Village Building Convergence begins. Funds are needed to feed all the volunteers who participate and get materials for building projects. Help make Olympia more beautiful and pedestrian-friendly.

Sunday, August 7th, 4 - 10pm - Traditional Italian Dinner with Chamber Music
Enjoy an elegant candlelight four-course dinner made by Emmeline Mead. We'll have beautiful chamber music provided by the Musically Gifted.

August 11th - 14th - Village Building Convergence
Fertile Guild Commons is the Central Venue for the Village Building Convergence - the place where all the participants return each evening for food, learning and sharing. Our site is also designated for several projects that will make it so much easier to be of service: The cob pizza oven is getting a new green roof that will add greater protection from the elements and create more prep space below. The chicken viewing area is getting a tractor sculpture seating installation. The hedge at corner of 9th and Adams is being replaced by a beautiful, welcoming gate with signage about the Commons. You can participate in so many ways even before it begins. Plan, haul, cook, flier, child care, dig, phone calls. Plug in, you'll be so glad you can say you had a hand in this.
