David's Bio:

So, let me tell you my story: When I was at Evergreen I studied psychology, philosophy, expressive arts and creative writing, which was life changing. Over the past few years I’ve worked with aging adults with disabilities and children of all ages. When I think about what I want to be when I grow up, I think, “I want to be a person. And I want to offer that to other people.” I’ve found that the rules I hold in my mind about what I should or shouldn’t be, make it hard to be all the person that I am. Like somebody gets to come around and chop off the parts of me they don’t like! That’s just not fair. So I’m working on making my view of what it means to be a person bigger and bigger so that it fits all of me in it. And all of you, too.
